Domaine de Cabrials lies on chalk and clay terraces to the west of Béziers, one of the driest regions in the Languedoc Roussillon. Cabrials present mansion was built in the 19th century on the site of a medieval château. Its large vineyard is farmed by Bernard Julien. The domaine has a beautiful 19th century cellar with huge oak casks, today used for the ageing and storage of the wines. The vineyards cover about 80 hectares, with 60% planted with red grape varieties, mainly Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault.
