The Stopham Estates, Rosé has a bright pink colour with aromas of fresh summer raspberries and strawberries. It is off dry, with crunchy red fruits along with crisp balancing acidity and is especially lovely in the sun.
The grapes were pressed directly on entering the winery, macerated for eight hours to extract the right amount of colour. They were fermented in stainless steel fermentation tanks installed with temperature regulation jackets, temperature sensors and carbon dioxide sensors. Fermentation rates were controlled automatically so that the fermentations are slow and gentle. As expected from highly aromatic varieties, there was no malolactic fermentation. Storage was on the fine lees until the summer, with bottling in August. The wine is closed with Stelvin Luxe Plus to preserve the purity of fruit.
